Just recently, the municipality of Piagapo underwent the national level of validation for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

August 26, 2022, 1:00 PM – Just recently, the municipality of Piagapo underwent the national level of validation for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
Representatives from the DILG Region XII led by no less than its Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa spearheaded the conduct of the validation. They were accompanied by Director II Fausiah R. Abdullah of the MILG-BARMM and MILG-Lanao del Sur Provincial Director McMillan Lucman. MILG’s SGLG focal persons and field personnel also joined the validation team.
The SGLG is the highest recognition and the most prestigious award given by the DILG to excellent and performing LGUs in the delivery of public service through compliance to pertinent national laws and guidelines.
The municipality of Piagapo is already enlisted in the SGLG Hall of Fame having conferred with the Seal for three consecutive years.
