On June 16 & 17, 2022, PDEA BARMM conducted one of its projects through its Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program Deliberation/Validation of Drug Cleared/Free Status Barangays.
This project aims to provide a more effective and efficient measure towards preventing and eradicating illegal drug abuse based on Dangerous Drugs Board Regulations No. 3, Series of 2017 (Strengthening the Implementation of Barangay Drug Clearing Program).
Seven (7) barangays of the Municipality of Piagapo have successfully retained their status as Drug-Free Barangays. In this program, Barangay Captains were asked to sit before a panel of judges to defend their status as Drug-Free.
The Barangay Captains were joined by RHU Head DR. Rasmia M. Lawi, PNP Head PLT Jamiludden P. Samo , MLGOO Sunurah A. Mangotara and the Municipal Information Officer, Nabel Guiama as ADAC Focal Person. Hon. Cairoden Mostafa as Local Chief Executive Representative. LGU Piagapo Working Team.
